Agroindustrial Patagonia Limitada (AGROPAT) is owned by the Cavada family, who have been linked to livestock development since the early 1900s. It is a trading company founded in 2006 with the aim of generating alternatives for the wool market in Patagonia.

AGROPAT has been working with cattle farmers in Chilean Patagonia for more than 15 years, encouraging the development of the local market and the quality of wool production for export, which has allowed it to position itself in the main international markets and, at the same time, maintain commitment to local producers.

The extensive steppe of Chilean Patagonia shelters the main sheep population in the country and from here, AGROPAT exports sheep wool to the main international markets.
